Materials We use ?
At Gold Gems Jewelry, we use recycled solid gold, platinum, and silver to craft timeless pieces.
- 14K Rose Gold – Composed of 58.5% pure gold and 41.5% alloy, offering a warm, romantic hue.
- 18K Rose Gold – Made with 75% pure gold and 25% alloy, providing a richer, more luxurious tone.
- Platinum – The purest alloy, with 95% platinum and 5% iridium or cobalt. Naturally white, it has a darker grey finish compared to 14K or 18K white gold. It is also 70% heavier and denser than 14K gold, ensuring superior durability.
What is Rhodium Plating?
Rhodium plating is a process where a thin layer of rhodium, a rare and highly reflective metal from the platinum group, is applied to jewelry made of silver, gold, or other base metals. This enhances the jewelry’s brilliance, durability, and tarnish resistance, giving it a bright, white, and lustrous finish.
Over time, rhodium plating can wear off, especially on frequently worn pieces. To maintain its shine and protection, re-plating is recommended and can be easily done by any professional jeweler.
With regular wear, all metals develop scratches but can be easily restored to a new finish through professional polishing or a jewelry polishing cloth.
Diamonds & Gemstones
We use natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, and ethically sourced gemstones, all conflict-free. Every diamond is handpicked, graded, and sorted by GIA-certified experts, ensuring optimal brilliance, color, and clarity. Each gemstone is hand-cut for precision and beauty, making our jewelry a perfect blend of luxury, sustainability, and ethical craftsmanship.
All our jewelry is made from solid precious metals—silver, 10K, 14K, 18K gold, or platinum—never plated. Each piece is stamped for purity on the inside, ensuring that you receive an item made of genuine, high-quality metal. This commitment to quality ensures authenticity, durability, and lasting value.

What Are Lab-Grown Diamonds?

Types of Lab-Grown Diamonds
We offer two types of lab-grown diamonds:
- CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) – These diamonds test as real diamonds using standard testers.
- HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) – These may sometimes test as moissanite due to tester limitations.
To ensure quality and authenticity, all our diamonds come with certifications from GIA and IGI, the most trusted diamond grading institutions.
